We ate here last week on the last night of our trip. I'm glad we found this place. I was wanting a steak, and man, were they delicious! I ordered the petite filet steak, medium rare, and my bf got the USDA prime strip, medium. We paired that with a baked potato and Au Gratin potatoes. I also got the coconut cake to go. Everything was delicious, especially that Prime strip. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely return next time we are in the area!!

Excellent service with a three-person team that were friendly, attentive, and willing to fix any problems without any trouble. The truffles mac n cheese, potatoes au gratin, and scallops were amazing. The steak and fried oysters were very good, just not as good as the other three items. Happy hour has two drink choices for 5$ each that are good, but a third option might be good. Eating in the bar is preferable to the main dining area, to us.

Had a wonderful chateaubriand and great experience at DB's! Really cool old-school vibe. Loved the tiled floors. Great service and drinks too. Highly recommend this spot for steaks!!

Great service, great food, and amazing service. Atmosphere is very lively. Steak was amazing-but the bread. Oh my goodness ????

From the start of this adventure I knew it was gonna be great. I called last minute to get a table got a sweet lady name Faith she couldn’t give me a reservation but told me to come on she promised there wouldn’t be a wait. We got there we were seated and from there it was fabulous. The drinks were great the Whiting staff just magnificent and then the food if I could give it more I would definitely a five star steak was unbelievable the sides just fabulous couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re in New Orleans go there get your fillet get the crab meat get the cream bully super

Excellent dinner. Steak was perfect, and so delicious. I was definitely under dressed, (flips flops and a t shirt) but I wasn't made to feel unwelcome in any way. It's right off of Bourbon st, so..... Great food and great service. Will definitely be back.

Food was Awesome. Had the House filet, with an order of gulf shrimp. Waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the Menus. Atmosphere was clean and very nice. Recommend for everyone.

Dickie's never disappoints. We walk in and ask to be seated in the bar area and get quickly seated by the hostess at a table of our choice. We order dinner cocktails and later wine from the wine list - so many to choose from. Bar service was excellent and so welcoming. Took our time and ordered the crab cake for an appetizer - nothing but crab meat no filler. Then ordered the Petit filet and creamed spinach for the table to share. Perfect choice for the evening. Steaks were cooked to perfection and just enough for a great dinner paired with a glass of belle glos Pinot Noir. Great dining experience. Food and service never fails. Definetly a staple in Nola.

My daughter is an RA at Tulane and was selected to work over the Thanksgiving break. I told her not to sweat it, we are coming to you, and that means we don't have to cook for 20+ people! So about a month or so, waited to late, I started to look for reservations. It was tough getting availability for an early evening dinner, but was able to score a 6:30pm spot for 4. We arrived, waited maybe 5-10min before being seated. Water and a basket came shortly after, along with menus. We opted to not go traditional and ordered steaks. The ladies had filet and I had a Porter House Pittsburgged. We orders shareable sides that were great, I had a wedge salad, if you didn't know I'm a wedge salad connoisseur. We also had a nice bottle of Prisoner to help with the red meat. Dinner was amazing and service was flawless. It being a holiday, and the restaurant packed, I was impressed. Dessert was decadent, ladies shard the the Mud pie I believe and I had the bread pudding. Bravo!

Ill start by saying make a reservation, we did and had no trouble getting seated right away. Steak was fantastic and cocktails were good. Busy location so go early because it like right on a busy strip downtown so plan to stay downtown for a bit after or walk a block or 2 to get your uber.
